Some dear friends of out's lost their 6 year old daughter this morning. We were blessed to have got to spend the weekend of Molly's birthday party with this family. Riley was the only child the Luce family had and they loved her so much. Please pray for their comfort and strength during this difficult time. My 84 year old mom is coming to visit tomorrow for 2 weeks.
Please pray the visit is amazing, that I find the perfect activities for her and she is filled with joy every minute.

Praise Report on Elise Ten Berge

When I put in prayer request for Elise her body was shutting down. Her breathing was very shallow and her seizures had completely stopped indicating severe brain function loss. Her neurologist did an EEG that showed very little brain activity, she also did not have any bowel sounds which was another indication that end of life was near. Elise is 5 1/2 and with the diagnosis of Tay-Sachs it is rare to live this long. Even with the best of care these children die usually before the age of 5. Elise is now back full swing, she started having seizures again, is more responsive, breathing great without oxygen and her bowel sounds are back. Praise God!!!! |

My heart goes out to a special family today and I am requesting prayer for this family. Mackenzie lost her battle to Juvenile Tay-sachs this morning. Mackenzie was 15 years old and an amazing little girl. Her 13 year old brother is also battling the disease. I could not imagine losing 2 children to Tay-sachs or any disease and I'm sure Spencer will miss his big sister terribly. Please pray for strength for this family to get through this heartache.
